Step 1 - Review Program Summary

    Read the Program Summary in Important Documents to ensure your project appears eligible for the grant. 

    Please note that the documents referenced herein contain additional details, this guide is meant to provide you with a broad overview of the process.  

    Step 2 - Permit Application

    Apply for a City Right of Way permit or Civil Construction permit as applicable.

    Step 3 - Grant Application

    Fill out and submit the Grant Application form found in the Important Document section.

    Step 4 - Award Letter & Grant Agreement

    You will receive a letter from the City of Molalla awarding or denying your grant. 

    If your grant is awarded, you will also receive a Grant Agreement that you will need to sign and submit to the Community Development Department within 10-days.  

    Step 5 - Construction

    Complete construction of the improvement within 6 months of your award letter, and in accordance with City standards.  The improvement will be inspected by City Staff as part of the ROW or Civil Construction permit. 

    Step 6 - Reimbursement

    Upon completion of construction and acceptance by the City, you will submit a written request and supporting documentation as outlined in the Award Letter (varies depending on new/replacement vs. repair). 

    Upon receipt of all required documentation, the City will issue a reimbursement check in 30-days or less.
