  • Pickleball Grand Opening

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

The Long Park Pickleball Courts Grand Opening event occured in typical Oregon fashion, rainy and chilly! That didn't stop the party though, the ribbon was cut, the speech was made, the cake was eaten and the courts were full of players of all ages having a great time!

Thank you Molalla Communications Company, Knife River Corporation, and Sports Court for your generous donations, without your support the Pickleball Courts would not have happened.

  • What's Happening at Long Park?

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

Have you noticed Long Park is receiving a facelift? You may have seen or heard about the new pickleball courts that will be opening soon and wondered about other activities happening daily. The small excavator is removing the old cracked and uneven sidewalks which will be replaced with wide, smooth paths allowing safe and accessable access to the park from the parking lot at the Civic Center and Molalla Avenue. The concrete apron in front of the restrooms is also being replaced. The swing set that was removed to make way for the pickleball court was not salvageable, so a new swing set is on order and we are anticipating it's arrival as much as you are! The paths, swing set, and pickleball court, are ADA compliant making Long Park more accessible to all. Irrigation has been replaced, added, or improved, and fresh bark dust brought in. We can't wait for this project to be complete and for you to enjoy the new features!

Please let us know if you have questions!
