10/02/2024 Update

Section Street has been paved and is awaiting striping.

Molalla Public Library parking lot has been repaved and striped.

9/12/2024 Update

Section Street has been excavated and is now being reconstructed.

Expected paving date(tentatively) September 23.

Molalla Public Library parking lot will be closed and repaved simultaneously. 

Project has begun with potholing on Section Street.

Project to include demolition & rebuild/paving of Section street and surfacing of Molalla Public Library parking lot.

Paving projected to be completed end of September.

North Molalla Ave. street paving

Tentative Schedule:

May 28th - Grinding to start

May 29th/30th - Paving of N. Molalla from Heintz Street to Church Street.
allowing a week for asphalt to cure

June 11th - Striping

Paving & Striping on S Molalla is now complete.

Section Street is expected to begin the Second week of August is the projected start date. However, start date could move.

PAVING UPDATES:
Striping of S Molalla Ave from 3rd Street to Molalla Forest Rd. will take place Thursday August 8th from 7AM to approx. 5PM. This will include installation of thermoplastic stop bars and crosswalk at all intersection within the project area. There’ll be temporary traffic detours during striping to allow point to dry, traffic delays are to be expected so please plan accordingly.

They're making progress! Approximately 2700 LF of new waterline installed.

10/02/2024 Update:

Street has been paved, sidewalks are being poured and awaiting striping on Ona Way.

9/12/2024 Update:

Curb and gutter has been poured, contractor to finish final grading in preparation for paving.

Continue to detour to S Molalla Forest Road.
