Due to a red flag heat warning issued by the National Weather Service, effective between 9/7/22 - 9/10/22, PGE has advised they may be conducting public safety power shutoffs (PSPS) in the areas just outside Molalla. The purpose of the potential PSPS is to mitigate the risk of wildfires.
Your help is needed to ensure the city is not impacted by a PSPS; be cautious with equipment or anything else that could cause sparks or fire! If you see downed power lines or trees please call the non-emergency line 503 655-8211,
While the City of Molalla is not currently under threat of PSPS's, other members of the greater Molalla Community are. Anyone who wants to stay up to date with events can sign up for notifications from Clackamas County Disaster Management and follow PGE's advisory page.
