    Current Residents of the City of Molalla (inside City limits) only. 

    What trash can I bring?

    • Bagged Garbage, Small Household Items, Mattresses - Free (Molalla Sanitary)
    • Tires - $8-$25 per Tire (Jason Webber's Countryside Cleanup)
    • Household Appliances, Auto Batteries, Radiators, Metal - Free (Jason Webber's Countryside Cleanup) 
    • Prescription Drugs - Free, Only accepted on 4/24/26 9:30am - 3:00pm (Molalla PD)


    What trash can I not bring?

    • Construction Debris (e.g. concrete, drywall, etc...)
    • Paint, paint thinners, solvents, any hazardous materials
    • Batteries, including lithium batteries (automotive batteries are accepted)
    • Sharps
    • Yard debris 
    • Large furniture
    • Propane tanks and bottles
    • Electronics (e.g. tv's, computer monitors)
    • Hazardous/Noxious Chemicals
    • Animal waste

    How much does it cost?

    There is a fee of $8-$25 for tire disposal, all other allowed trash is free!  

    How much does this event cost the City?

    The cost to the City is nominal and only includes staff time for advertising and some minor pre-event coordination.  

    This is a courtesy event donated by Molalla Sanitary Service, with additional donations of time and services by Jason Webber's Countryside Cleanup.  

    The Molalla Police Department also provides a drug takeback area on Fridays which does not require any additional staffing beyond normal Friday levels.   

    Event staffing and management is largely done by the Molalla City Council and other volunteers!
